About Us

The story of House of Naku begins with a love that transcends borders and cultures. It starts with the story of a woman whose name means "come in peace" - Naku.

Naku's parents had been married for ten long years without any sign of a child. They had prayed for a baby, but the years had passed, and their prayers remained unanswered. It was a difficult time for them, filled with sadness and despair.

House of Naku is more than just a meal delivery service. It's a tribute to the founder's mother, whose name means "come in peace." After ten years of marriage, Naku's parents were blessed with her arrival, a day of joy, celebration, and peace. House of Naku brings the same sense of peace and joy through traditional West African dishes made with love and care, honoring Naku's legacy and the power of community.

When Naku's daughter decided to start a West African meal delivery service, she knew she wanted to honor her mother's legacy. She wants to bring the same sense of peace and joy that she had brought to the world into people's homes through the power of food.

So, when you order from House of Naku, know that you are not just getting a meal - you are getting a piece of Naku's legacy. You are getting a taste of the peace and joy she brought to the world, and you are becoming a part of the story of House of Naku - a story rooted in love, hope, and the power of community.
